Well, no list would be complete if you didnt include some Honorable Mentions. Basically, this is our way of trying to squeeze a few more movie posters on the list but the numbers didn't work. There are some goodies on this page and if you think we should have found some way to get them in the Top 100, please feel free to tell us by voting "Yes" or "No" on our survey. Enjoy!
Day Watch

Day Watch

(2006)
We couldn't decide which of the movie posters for this Russian film and it's predecessor "Night Watch" was a better design. We chose this one because it looks cool and we think the better of the two movies. The director, Timur Bekmambetov went on to helm the 2008 flick "Wanted".

Vierges et Vampires

Vierges et Vampires

(1971)
Director, Jean Rollin's third of four early 70's vampire flicks. This movie poster is for the US release of the French film "Virgins and Vampires". Not to confuse the US audiences the film was released as "Caged Virgins". Great tagline about being "Forced to submit to the Horrors of the Pit" and they weren't talking about a "mosh pit".

Daughters of Darkness

Daughters of Darkness

(1971)
This movie poster certainly hints at a rather, shall we say "kinky" premise. One of the earlier 70's films to explore that lesbian vampire theme.

Vampyres

Vampyres

(1974)
Considered to be the sexiest of all lesbian-themed vampire movies. The Spanish movie poster leaves nothing to the imagination with the semi-nude vampires in negligees.

"Come see how the vampires do it". Great art work and the inimitable and terrifying Barnabas Collins. 'Nuff said.

Frostbitten

Frostbitten

(2006)
Very nasty looking vampire outside the window. This movie was released 2 year before "Let the Right One In". Wonder if the designers from that film got any ideas from this key art.

Mr. Vampire

Mr. Vampire

(1985)
OK, this movie poster may definitely lack some meaningful art work, but we couldn't over look the opportunity to include an Asian produced martial arts vampire movie.

Orgy of the Vampires

Orgy of the Vampires

(1965)
Yes, the movie poster says "Orgy of the Dead" but the film is about vampires. This Ed Wood classic was filmed in "Shocking Sexicolor". Wonder if those five playgirls were involved?

This big budget movie starring Hugh Jackman is a fan favorite. It also has many of the design elements you see in movie posters in revent years.

Just when you thought you had seen it all in vampire hunters, along comes Jesus Christ. Blasphemous or just plain outrageous? You decide.
