General
1. What happens if I made a mistake on my shipping address, refuse delivery or cannot be available to receive my FedEx delivery?
FedEx will make 3 attempts to deliver your order, and leave a notice on each attempt. After the third attempt, the shipment will be returned to us or abandoned at our discretion. If a shipment is returned to us because it is undeliverable due to an error in entering your address or because no one was available to receive it, we will not refund any charges. To have us re-ship a returned order, a further charge of $20.00 USD will be applied. If we have made an error in addressing a shipment, we will of course be fully responsible to replace or refund all charges.
2. What if my order is not received but tracking information indicates it has been delivered?
Please email us mail@moviepostershop.com as soon as possible with your order number and name indicating that your order has not been received. We must have a written notice and cannot accept telephone calls to process a claim for loss. We will then initiate a claim with FedEx. Once FedEx accepts a claim for payment of loss we will either issue a refund or replacement.
3. Why is the poster that I ordered smaller/larger than indicated online?
All sizes indicated on our website are approximate only. While we make every effort to provide accurate measurements, in some cases we have listed new items not yet received from publishers and final poster size may vary from online approximate size. We do not recommend buying frames before having your poster. Size differences of less than 2 inches on any given side is acceptable for our purposes and returns will not be accepted for this reason.
4. How do I know if an item is in stock or not?
The vast majority of all items listed on the web site are currently in stock. On occasion, an item will become unavailable or sold out and still appear on the web site for a short time period until updated.
5. Do you ship partial shipments or only when an order is complete?
Generally we will ship orders only when deemed to be completely filled. Partial orders can be shipped, but additional shipping charges may apply for each shipment.
6. I ordered 6 items but only received 5, what happened?
Occasionally items will be discontinued or no longer available from our suppliers. In these cases we will generally ship the remainder of the order and cancel the outstanding item without advance notice. Charges are adjusted to reflect only items that have shipped.
7. How do I return an item?
If you are in any way unsatisfied with the items you have received from us, please contact our customer service department mail@moviepostershop.com within 10 days of receiving your order with the following information and we will be happy to assist you.
- a. Order number, first and last name
- b. Indicate which item(s) you want to return
- c. Provide reason for return: damaged, incorrect item, duplicate order, etc.
- d. Specify if you want a refund or replacement (Certain orders will be limited to one or the other)
Please do not send any items back to us until you have contacted us first to obtain instructions and Return Authorization. We will credit you for all products returned to us in re-saleable condition. Please note that we will not refund shipping costs unless there has been an error on our part. Any items returned without pre-authorization will not be accepted.
8. How do I pay for an order?
During the checkout process, you will be presented with the payment options available to you. Select the option that you are most comfortable with, provide us with the appropriate billing and shipping information and we will ship your order as soon as possible. We accept only credit card and PayPal payments.
9. Can I use my bank/check card to pay for an order if it has a MasterCard/Visa logo on it?
Yes, but please note that depending on your bank, an authorization on your card holds funds and the amount authorized is not accessible to you.
10. When am I charged for my order?
Typically, charges are applied when your order has been processed, however, orders including custom photographs or enlargements will be charged at the time the order is placed with our supplier. Photograph and enlargement orders cannot be cancelled once placed with our supplier, usually within 24 hours of order placement.
11. Do you accept Pay Pal payments?
Yes, please select the Pay Pal payment option during checkout and you will be directed to the Pay Pal site to finalize your order.
12. Do you offer wholesale rates?
As a retailer, we do not offer wholesale pricing; however, in some cases we can provide a bulk discount on quantity purchases. Please contact us by email mail@moviepostershop.com with your specific request.
Frames
1. How is your framing different from my local art and framing shop?
At moviepostershop.com, we offer professional framing at affordable prices, so you can save over your local frame shop. Our centralized Custom Frame Shop enables us to cut out middlemen and pass on the savings to you. Choose from any size offered on our site, and you can enjoy your framed art within days, not weeks, with the fastest turnaround of custom framed items in the industry.
2. What kind of glass do you use?
We use acrylic Plexiglas on our framed products. The acrylic has outstanding optical clarity and a lightweight impact resistance. We use this to reduce on shipping damages and lingering lasting products.
3. Can I buy just a frame?
Absolutely! We will sell you any frame that we offer without the purchase of a print.
4. Can all items on the site be framed?
We provide framing for the majority of items found on our web site. Due to shipping restrictions, however, we are unable to frame any prints where the frame size is larger than 42” x 53”. If you choose an item that is too large to frame, you will be notified of this in the Customer Service Team.
5. Can I frame a print I already own?
No. We do not provide framing services for pre-owned prints. However you can purchase a frame and place the print inside the frame once you receive it.
6. Can you send me samples of the molding you offer?
Currently, moviepostershop.com does not offer samples of our framing components.
T-Shirts
1. What material is the t-shirt made with?
We only use name brand, 6.1oz, 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton T-Shirts. These are the best the shirts on the market for this application.
2. What are the care instructions for the t-shirt?
You might notice that new apparel products feel stiff. Don't worry, they will soften after the first wash. We suggest, wash in cold water with NO BLEACH. Tumble-dry with low heat and if necessary, warm iron inside out.
3. Can I get a t-shirt that is dark colored?
At this time we only offer White T-shirts.
